JEGGINGS

I first saw the name "jeggings" in Jag's billboard in EDSA about a year ago.  However, when I went to visit malls to look for one, I didn't like Jag's fit on me so I tried looking for it in my all-time favorite denim brand, Freego.  I like Freego's jeans because I think they were customed for typical Pinay sizes with not so long legs.  And I was able to buy one.  I think I used it in one of my Ilocos trips.

What I liked about it is that it feels so light and comfortable.

Anyway, for those of you who are wondering, jeggings are a combination of your denim jeans and leggings.  I don't know who coined the term but it's supposed to look like denim jeans but it feels like leggings.

I haven't really took fancy in having one (because I thought they would immediately go away) except lately when I was able to buy two pairs from Surplus Shop with a very good fit and was very comfortable.  It has corduroy texture though so I can actually wear it in formal events.

I have looked into the net on how to properly wear one and noted that there are still numerous celebrities who are into it.

When one scours the internet there would be plenty of sites offering you how to "properly" wear jeggings. And it amuses me how they are opposing each other. Some sites say that it's ok to wear them like normal jeans while some say they should not be worn like one.

However, the bottomline is, if you loved how you look wearing skinny jeans, chances are, you'd also love jeggings.  The difference though is that the fabric on jeggings is a little thin so you'd have to be extra careful for those unwanted bulges or panty marks. The manner on how you wear it would all depend on your personal style and body shape.
