When I was a kid, my mother would always prepare birthday parties for me. It would be a very very fun day with all the kiddie games and of course, my friends. I still have complete pictures of it from my 2nd to my 14th bday. When I was 15, things got simpler and my bday would just be a simple dinner or something like that. Sob. Sob.
When I finally earned on my own, ten years later, I decided to prepare for my b-day. I thought that such party, more than a gastronomic celebration and a photo opp (lolz), is also a thanksgiving for all the blessings that has come to me for the last 24 years.
Whew. I didn’t know it was going to be this dramatic! Haha!
Anyway, since I am such a huge fan of gossip girl, I decided it to be the theme for that night.
I just didn’t expect that my guests would actually take the theme seriously! I was kind of flattered!
I designed the tarps my self:
For location, I chose Bob's. Bob's restaurant is very famous in Bacolod. It is especially famous for its sate babe, a barbecue with peanut butter sauce and for its baby backribs.
Since I have a sweet tooth, my fave in bob's would be its PAVLOVA cake, so that's the cake I ordered:
Anyway, as I said, my friends really came out dressed for the night!
To show his support, Reymar even bought his turntables for our lounge music.
After the party at Bob's, we headed to Bazzo Bar, Blue Wave to cap the night off:
Ooopss...
Anyway, since my party was supposed to be "Gossip Girl" type, I decided to copy one of Blair Waldorf's look in a summer episode:
Whoever said that dressing up in all white would make you look flushed out probably have not seen Blair in this outfit!
As for the rest of the cast (walang rereklamo, this is my day...lolz), here's my say:
Many were dressed in black so I'd say they would be the Serena's of the party.
But the Serena stars that night (less the blonde) would have to be Ate Angie (Best Breakthrough Performance) and Ate Zen (for the costume change..lolz)
Jenny Humphrey is undoubtedly Gigs:
As for the boys (uh-uh..this is going to be damn funny..peace!)
Chuck Bass and Erick?
Dan Humphrey and Humil?
I don't know who Nate will be.... Nobody could ever match his hunkiness...even local celebs couldn't...Hehehe!
Thank you so much to all those who came and to those who didn't...I'm still accepting gifts in lieu of your presence! LOLZ!
xoxo
