LBDs

You woke up late for an appointment and you only have an hour to prepare, including shower. This is supposed to be a very formal meeting and when you open your closet...alas! You have nothing "appropriate" to wear. Your black slacks is too casual..while your pink dress is too sexy. This is your make or break moment and you are perspiring because you have less than 30 minutes to dress-up...and then as you continue perusing through your closet...there it is...the perfect dress...a black 3/4-sleeved dress...and that just saved your day!

LBD or your little black dress is a simple-cut dress which was initially designed to be an evening wear. However, nowadays, it can also be a used as a casual or office wear. They said that it was Coco Chanel who first designed an LBD, to provide a design for women which transcends through any fashion changes. And now, it has been a staple in any woman's closet. It is always in style. Thus, everybody must have an LBD. This could save us on those days when we want to play it safe. This type of dress is also very easy to transform. You can add some statement accessory and you are ready for that night-out from the office without needing to bring extra clothes!

To add contrast to an LBD, it's also nice to accessorize them with any bold color such as red or gold!

I love my LBD for the office. And in the second picture, I paired it with red shoes.

See how the famous Kardashian sisters pulled-off these different types of LBDs. See how Chloe paired hers with skin-tone pumps.

Celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Jennifer Aniston and Anne Hathaway also looked good on their LBDs.

And who can forget the very famous LBD (would this actually qualify as "little'?) worn by Audrey Hepburn?

Share to us your LBD designs!
